Receptions of goods
Once you receive the items purchased we ask you to inspect the items for potential visible damages. Should the packaging be damaged or in any way assemble visible marks of fault you can choose to receipt the item with reservations. Or you can refuse the receipt and let us know on email@example.com.
Please contact us with pictures of the damages so that we can help you in the best possible way.
At www.formelaberlin.de we accept your payment via Bambora Payment Solutions. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
The full amount is deducted when we ship your order to you. This however does not apply to orders that are produced specifically on your request.
All agreements are made in German or English. All pricing at formelaberlin.de appear in euro (EUR) and includes VAT of 19 % of the total amount purchased. Freight and delivery fees are disclosed before the actual purchase.
We draw attention to the fact that we in any circumstance are entitled to cancel an order made at formelaberlin.de in the case of obvious price related errors.
If you have received a discount code on one of our designs this discount code may not be passed on to others and it cannot be combined with ongoing campaigns.
We charge 65€ for delivery in Berlin. Please contact us for details about delivery outside of Berlin.
We deliver your new sofa as close to your front door as possible, in most cases to the curve. Carry up service (up to the 4th floor) is included in the delivery price.
Formel A Berlin will always make sure to enlighten any costs as to delivery and pick up. These costs will furthermore appear on the invoice.
Are you not at home at the time of delivery and there is no note on the invoice stating a place of drop of near by, the item will be returned to Formel A Berlin. The customer will then be charged with a new delivery fee.
You can also choose flex shipping at checkout. With this shipping option we will advise you at least 48 hours before delivery in the time slot 8.00-16.00 or 12.00-20.00. Your sofa will be delivered within max 14 days after arrival to our stock. If you are not able to receive your sofa at the advised time your free flex delivery will be lost. You will then have to purchase shipping with us and we will schedule delivery on a day and time that suits you.
Estimated time of delivery is 14 weeks from the date of purchase.
Formel A is in generel not responsible for any situation caused by force majeure as well as external circumstances and situations that is no fault of Formel A. In the case of a certain special circumstance that delays your order we reserve the right to postpone the delivery of your order or to plead the force majeure. Such a situation does not entitle the customer to a compensation nor the right to cancel the order.
Right of cancellation
There’a always room for changing one’s mind. At Formel A we give you 30 days right of cancellation on your purchase from the day you have received your order. You can of course also cancel your order before receiving it. If you wish to claim your right of cancellation please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org
When cancelling an order we distinguish between items in stock (sofas that are in stock the day you place your order) and items we are going to produce for you (sofas that are produced specifically for you after you have placed your order).
If you have placed an order on an item in stock and you wish to cancel your purchase you get 100% of the item’s price returned. In this case it is very important that the item is returned to us in original packaging, that it is intact and in the same condition as upon receipt. Should the item be unpacked or in any other way not returned in the same condition as upon receipt Formel A reserves the right to debit a fee of 30-50% of the purchase price to cover this impairment of the item. Any transportation costs will not be refunded. We do of course offer to pick up the item at your address on the ground floor and you will be debited according to our applicable delivery costs.
Have you purchased an item in stock that hasn’t been delivered to you yet you can claim your right of cancellation up to 48 hours before scheduled delivery and you will be refunded 100% of the purchase price including delivery costs within 14 days.
If you have purchased an item that we are going to produce for you based on your order and you wish to claim your right of cancellation we will refund you 70% of the purchase price regardless of whether delivery has taken place or not. If your order has been delivered to you it is important that the item is returned in original packaging, that it is intact and in the same condition as upon receipt. Should the item be unpacked or in any other way not returned in the same condition as upon receipt Formel A reserves the right to debit a fee of 20% of the purchase price to cover this impairment of the item. In this case we will refund you 50% of the purchase price. Any transportation costs will not be refunded. We do of course offer to pick up the item at your address on the ground floor and you will be debited according to our applicable delivery costs. When we have received your order and established the refund price you will be refunded within 14 days.
Return of goods
You must return the item in question to us without any unnecessary delay, and at the latest 14 days after having notified Formel A Berlin about the return. The consumer carries the risk as to the item from the day of delivery.
The lack of original packaging may result in a depreciation of the item. Return the item in question in its original packaging to be sure to get the full amount reimbursed.
We recommend that you contact Formel A Berlin if you want to return an item. In most cases we will arrange for a shipping company to pick up the item. The cost of this pick up will always be settled with the consumer beforehand but will in most cases bear resemblance to our usual delivery fees.
Delivery of items that have been made specifically on the consumer’s specifications or resemble marks of usage are excepted from the abovementioned and will be considered individually.
The condition of the item when returning it
If the item you want to return bears resemblance to regular usage we will consider it as used. That means that we will not be able to reimburse you the full amount. The amount that we will be able to reimburse will be calculated in each individual matter.
Should you regret your purchase we will reimburse you the full amount. In the case of a depreciation, which the customer vouches for, we will withdraw this from the amount reimbursed.
Should you choose another shipping company for the return of the item we can not reimburse you any additional cost than the fee we ourselves charge for delivery. We will reimburse you the amount settled within 14 days from the date we receive your notification of the wish to return the item. This reimbursement will in most cases be executed via bank transfer.
Formel A Berlin has the right to withhold this reimbursement until we have received the item in question unless you can submit documentation of already having returned it.

We emphasize that this must happen in full agreement with Formel A Berlin.
We do not accept packages that are not send directly to the store in Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 22, neither packages send C.O.D.
As a consumer you have the standard 24 months of warranty. If the claim is justified and the claim is not due to improper use, the item in question will either be repaired or exchanged, or you will get a refund or a discount, depending on the specific claim.
You will always need to file your claim in a reasonable time span from noticing the damage. If you file your claim within two months after noticing the damage, the claim will always be considered as timely.
When we are acquainted with your claim, we will contact you to settle the procedure.
Is the claim justified, we will refund your (fair) freight charge. The item must be returned in a justifiable packaging. Remember to get the receipt for the return, so that we can reimburse this amount.
Please note that A SOFA under the bottom is covered with a piece of thin, fragile fabric to protect the sofa from dust etc. during delivery. The fabric has neither a cosmetic nor practical significance once the sofa is placed in your home. A scratch in this material is therefor not entitled to a claim.
The Act on Processing of Personal Data
Our online accounting system needs the name, address, phone number and e-mail to create an invoice.
We register and pass on this information in terms of delivery. This information is registered at Formel A Shop ApS and is kept for five years. The consumer can object to this registration of personal data and demand to be provided with this information.
